DRIVERS COULDN'T PROCEED

While many streets and roads across the city were flooded, underpasses also filled with rainwater. Long vehicle queues formed in traffic, and drivers had difficulty advancing. Due to overflowing manholes, water levels rose on some roads, and rainwater swept away garbage containers.

WORKPLACES FLOODED

Many workplaces in Yenikent Industrial Site were flooded. While material damage occurred in workplaces due to floods, some areas of the industrial site were completely submerged.

COURIER SWEPT AWAY

In Mamak Dereboyu area, a courier on a motorcycle was swept away by floodwaters. While citizens recorded those moments with their mobile phones, some motorcycles were carried meters away by the floodwaters.

VEHICLE SUBMERGED IN WATER

The underpass on Turgut Özal Boulevard in Altındağ district was also flooded. After the rain, the water level in the underpass rose meters high, and the passage was completely closed to traffic. A light commercial vehicle in the underpass was stranded in the water. Most of the vehicle was seen submerged.
