Today, another company engaged in olive oil fraud was added to the list of Foods That Endanger Health and Imitated or Adulterated Foods published by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. It has been reported that the company mixed seed oils into the products it sold as pure olive oil.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry continues to expose foods that pose a health risk and foods that are counterfeit or adulterated. According to the data announced today, another fraudulent company has been identified in olive oil, which is the most commonly adulterated product.

Accordingly, it has been determined that the company named SSC GRUP TARIM GIDA ZEYTİNYAĞI TİC. LTD. ŞTİ. mixed seed oils in its product "Natürel Sızma Zeytinyağı-5 Lt" sold under the "EGE SIZMA" brand. It was noted that this company operates in the Selçuk district of İzmir.
