In the case regarding the abduction of businessman Koray Sarısaçlı, statements from confidential witnesses were entered into the case file. It was alleged that Alparslan Kuytul beat the organization member who had imposed a penalty on Sarısaçlı without his knowledge and broke a stick over his back. While the witness testimonies claimed that punishment methods were carried out with the leader's permission, H.K.'s statement also confirmed these testimonies.
According to the statements of a secret witness in the indictment accepted by the 8th Heavy Penal Court regarding the kidnapping of businessman Koray Sarısaçlı, it was alleged that Alparslan Kuytul, arrested in Adana, broke a stick on the back of a member of his organization who had given a punishment without his knowledge.
In the operation carried out within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against the structure known as "Kuytulists" in the public eye, 35 suspects, including Alparslan Kuytul and his wife Semra Kuytul, were arrested, judicial control decisions were issued for 18 suspects, and 3 suspects were released by the prosecutor's office.
TRIED FOR INCITEMENT
Kuytul had also been put on trial in 2021, accused of inciting the kidnappers in the kidnapping of businessman Koray Sarısaçlı. It emerged that the indictment accepted by the 8th Heavy Penal Court contained secret witness statements regarding Kuytul. The secret witness statements included striking allegations about the "punishment" methods allegedly used within the organization. In the statements, it was claimed that the punishment of certain individuals within the organization was carried out with the knowledge or permission of the leader. The witness claimed that no one could reward or punish any person without the leader's knowledge.
HE BEATS HIS DISCIPLES WHO GIVE "PUNISHMENT" WITHOUT HIS KNOWLEDGE
In one of the secret witness statements, it was alleged that after a person, said to be selling cassettes in the market, sent a message to a woman via mobile phone, some leading figures of the organization consulted among themselves and beat this person. The witness said that when Kuytul learned of the incident, he beat the people who made the decision, saying, "Why did you do such a thing without my knowledge?"
"HE BROKE A STICK ON HIS BACK"
The witness claimed that during the incident, some people left the organization, but a person named H.K. did not leave, showed obedience, and was beaten. In the witness's statement, it was also claimed that Kuytul broke a stick on H.K.'s back.
THE STATEMENT OF THE BEATEN DISCIPLE CONFIRMED THE ALLEGATION
It was stated that H.K., mentioned in the secret witness's statement and reported to have been assaulted, made similar claims in his statement taken in the presence of his lawyer. In response to the questions directed at him, H.K. recounted that they went with his friends to warn a person who was said to have harassed his niece, and that this situation was learned by Alparslan Kuytul.
H.K. alleged that at the foundation center, Kuytul gave him a stick and asked him to beat the friend he had gone with, and when he said "there is no need to ask," he was beaten with the stick in Kuytul's hand. It was stated that H.K. did not file a complaint regarding the incident.
