The operator who was carrying out the demolition work stopped the excavator when he saw the Turkish flag hanging on the wall. After getting off the vehicle, the operator took the flag from where it was hanging and continued his work. WHAT HAPPENED?In Pendik, on August 7th, an IETT bus collided with an electric cargo motorcycle first, and then with a barber shop at the entrance of a 4-storey building on Vatan Street in Orhangazi Neighborhood. 6 people injured in the accident were taken to the hospital, and the column on the side of the building hit by the bus was damaged. The electricity, water, and natural gas of the evacuated building were cut off as a precaution. After placing 4 steel support columns on the ground floor of the building, the IETT bus was lifted with the help of a crane, and the decision was made to demolish the building.
