Ömer Çetinkaya, who was seriously injured in an armed conflict at a gas station in the Sandıklı district of Afyonkarahisar, has died in the hospital. An operation has been launched to capture the suspects who fled the scene.
One person who was seriously injured in a gunfight at a gas station in Afyonkarahisar has died after being taken to the hospital.
The incident occurred at a gas station on the outskirts of the Sandıklı district. According to the information obtained, citizens who saw a person lying motionless on the ground at the gas station reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center and requested help.
THE PERSON SHOT WITH A GUN HAS DIED
Upon the notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area. The person lying on the ground, who was determined to have been shot, was taken by ambulance to Sandıklı State Hospital. However, the individual, identified as Ömer Çetinkaya, could not be saved despite the intervention and died.
Investigations revealed that a person named A.A. and two male individuals had argued with Çetinkaya and then left the scene.
THEY FLED IN A VEHICLE
However, it was reported that the individuals later returned to the scene and that Çetinkaya claimed the individuals fired at him from their vehicle. Following this, A.A. reportedly got out of the vehicle and fired three shots at Çetinkaya with a gun he pulled from his waist, then fled the scene with the individuals in an unknown vehicle. After the incident, efforts were initiated to capture the fleeing individuals.
