A hot development has occurred in the investigation against the CHP-run İzmit Municipality in Kocaeli. Twenty-one people, including İzmit Mayor Fatma Kaplan Hürriyet and her husband Murat Hürriyet, have been referred to the Criminal Court of Peace with a request for arrest.
