The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps stated that the B-1 type US bombers used in attacks on Iran took off from the Fairford Air Base in the UK, and that every base used for attacks on Iran is a "legitimate target" for them.

In a statement issued by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, a reaction was expressed towards the UK, which was alleged to have permitted US aircraft.

"THE BASE IN THE UK IS OUR LEGITIMATE TARGET"

The statement claimed that the US, after exhausting its cruise missile stocks on warships in the Indian Ocean, used B-1 bombers taking off from Fairford Air Base in the UK in its recent attacks.

Reacting to this situation, the statement said, "As officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have stated, any base used for attacks against Iran is our legitimate target."

Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs had "strongly" condemned the UK's decision to allow its military bases to be used for the preparation and facilitation of US attacks against Iran.

RENEWED CONFLICTS BETWEEN THE US AND IRAN

While the US continues its attacks on Iran, Iran persists with its retaliatory actions against US bases in the Gulf.

In response to Trump's statements targeting Iran's energy infrastructure, Major General Mousavi, Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Aerospace Force, countered that they could target the energy infrastructure of US allies in the region.

The mutual threats between the parties are increasing security concerns regarding energy infrastructure in the region.
