It has been claimed that Beşiktaş Football Director Önder Özen submitted a separation report for exactly 16 players as soon as he took office. A major change is expected in the black-and-white team ahead of the new season.
Önder Özen, appointed as the Football Director of Beşiktaş, started squad planning immediately upon taking office. It is claimed that the experienced football executive gave separation reports for as many as 16 players.

Beşiktaş had parted ways with head coach Sergen Yalçın and Football A Team General Coordinator Serkan Reçber. The black-and-white management brought Önder Özen to lead the football structure.
