The actress, who shared a photo taken from her hospital room on her social media account, both moved her followers and announced that she will have another operation with the note "Hopefully the last one."
Bekiroğlu's health struggle began when approximately 7 centimeters of her intestine was cut during an operation to remove a fibroid in her uterus. After this complication, the actress underwent consecutive surgeries and has been going through a challenging treatment process for a long time.
Bekiroğlu, who previously described her experiences in full detail on a program she attended, stated that after the first surgery, she was operated on again to repair the damage to her intestine, and later received months of treatment due to a leak that occurred.
"I HAD TWO MAJOR SURGERIES LASTING 8-9 HOURS"
The 30-year-old actress announced that she underwent her seventh surgery in April, and in a video she shared, she said she had come close to death twice. Bekiroğlu described the severity of her experience with the words, "I went through very difficult things for two years. I had two major surgeries lasting 8-9 hours. My doctors told me I came back from the brink of death twice. I had six surgeries, I am very worn out. There is one more left."
HER PERSPECTIVE ON LIFE CHANGED
Bekiroğlu, who also stated that the health problems she experienced changed her perspective on life, noted that this period spiritually strengthened her, using the expressions, "I saw that everything can slip away from your hands in an instant. I realized how temporary physical appearance and visibility on social media are. This process brought me closer to God."
