Turkish Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş said regarding the developments in the CHP, "The Turkish Parliament does not take sides in the situation within the CHP. The CHP must resolve this internal issue on its own."

Turkish Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş will meet with Zambian National Assembly Speaker Nelly Mutti and will hold a joint press conference. Speaking about the tensions in the CHP that began with the absolute nullity decision, Kurtulmuş gave a clear message.

"THE PARLIAMENT WILL NOT TAKE SIDES"

Kurtulmuş stated "The Turkish Parliament cannot take sides in the situation within the CHP. We advise and hope that the CHP resolves their internal conflicts and discussions among themselves."

Highlights from Kurtulmuş's statements are as follows;

"The words spoken by Israel's blood-stained Prime Minister have no validity or weight in the eyes of the world public.

Turkey's investments in Africa have reached a level of 100 billion dollars.

(Terror-free Turkey process) With such a positive momentum achieved, it is necessary for all parties to continue their joint efforts to conclude this as soon as possible."

DEVELOPMENTS IN THE CHP

The process in the CHP that began with the court's "absolute nullity" decision has turned into one of the largest internal crises in the party's history. Following the decision, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's reinstatement, the suspension of Özgür Özel's administration, the evacuation of the CHP headquarters with police intervention, Kılıçdaroğlu and Özel holding separate CHP group meetings, the Party Assembly meeting crisis, resignations from the Party Assembly, and disciplinary investigations have marked the political agenda. As the struggle between the parties continues, whether a new congress will be held within the party and how the legal process will conclude remain subjects of curiosity.
