At the Afife Theater Awards Ceremony, after the award-winning actor Sükun Işıtan thanked the General Director of State Theaters, Tamer Karadağlı, booing sounds rose from the audience. Following the protests, it was observed that many guests left the hall.

At the Afife Awards Ceremony, Deputy General Manager of State Theaters Sükun Işıtan received the 'Best Actress' award on behalf of the play 'Medea Material'.

Following her speech, Işıtan thanked the General Director of State Theaters, Tamer Karadağlı. After Işıtan's thanks, which greatly supported her in addition to her duties, sounds of booing rose from the audience.
