US Southern Command announced that two narco-terrorists were killed in an attack on a boat identified as carrying drugs in the Eastern Pacific. It was stated that no US military personnel were harmed in the operation.
The U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) announced another attack on a boat identified as carrying drugs in the Eastern Pacific, stating, "2 male narco-terrorists were killed in this attack." The U.S. military added another to its operations against boats detected transporting drugs in the Caribbean Sea and Eastern Pacific. In a statement from SOUTHCOM, it was reported that the joint task force conducting Operation Southern Spear, under the direction of SOUTHCOM Commander General Francis L. Donovan, targeted another boat belonging to organizations designated as "terrorist organizations."

The statement emphasized that intelligence confirmed the boat was carrying drugs on a smuggling route in the Eastern Pacific, using the words, "2 male narco-terrorists were killed in this attack, and no U.S. military personnel were harmed." Images shared by SOUTHCOM showed a boat speeding through the ocean turning into a fireball after being struck by an airstrike.
