According to information obtained from ministry sources; during the attack carried out by the United States on the evening of April 17 at the Ras Isa oil terminal located on the coast of Hudaydah, controlled by the Houthis in Yemen, shrapnel fragments hit a fuel tanker operated by a Turkish company. While there was no serious damage to the ship, the group controlling the port did not allow the ship, which wanted to leave the port after the attack, to depart.
THE CREW IS IN GOOD CONDITION
Following the learning of the situation, necessary initiatives were started by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Turkey's Embassy in Sana. It was reported that out of the 26 crew members on board, 4, including the captain, are Turkish citizens, while the other 22 personnel are Indian citizens, and that all crew members are in good condition.
