Boğaziçi Elektrik Dağıtım AŞ (BEDAŞ) announced that planned power outages will be carried out in 15 districts on the European Side of Istanbul today (Tuesday, October 13, 2026). The outages, carried out due to maintenance, investment, and subscriber connection works, will last up to 8 hours in some neighborhoods. The districts with the most intense outages are Güngören, Esenyurt, Bayrampaşa, and Başakşehir. In Küçükçekmece and Başakşehir, however, power outages are occurring due to a grid fault.
In Istanbul, across 15 districts from Arnavutköy to Sarıyer, electricity will not be supplied at different times throughout the day. According to BEDAŞ’s planned maintenance list, most of the outages will take place between 09.00 and 17.00.
REASON FOR THE OUTAGES
According to BEDAŞ’s data, the outages are being carried out due to maintenance work, investment work, subscriber and branch connections, SCADA/OSOS work, and electrical facility connection works. The districts where outages will be implemented were listed as Arnavutköy, Avcılar, Bağcılar, Bahçelievler, Bakırköy, Başakşehir, Bayrampaşa, Beylikdüzü, Çatalca, Esenyurt, Eyüpsultan, Güngören, Küçükçekmece, Sarıyer, and Zeytinburnu.
OUTAGE IN 6 NEIGHBORHOODS IN GÜNGÖREN
In Güngören, electricity will be cut in Güneştepe Neighborhood between 07.30-11.30. In Sanayi Neighborhood, the outage will be carried out between 07.30-11.30 and 09.00-17.00, depending on the streets. In Akıncılar and Mareşal Çakmak neighborhoods, outages will be implemented between 08.00-12.00 and 09.00-13.00. In some streets of Mareşal Çakmak Neighborhood, the outage will last until 17.00. In Merkez Neighborhood, electricity will not be supplied between 10.00-14.00 and 11.00-15.00.
NIGHT OUTAGE IN ESENYURT AND BEYLİKDÜZÜ
In Esenyurt, in Koza and Selahaddin Eyyubi neighborhoods, and in Cumhuriyet Neighborhood in Beylikdüzü, electricity was cut between 00.00-08.00. In Esenyurt’s Akçaburgaz Neighborhood, outages will be implemented throughout the day between 09.00-11.00, 12.00-14.00, 13.00-15.00, and 15.00-17.00, depending on the streets. In Cumhuriyet and Mehterçeşme neighborhoods, there will be no electricity between 09.00-17.00.
OUTAGE HOURS IN KÜÇÜKÇEKMECE AND BAŞAKŞEHİR
In Küçükçekmece, outages will be carried out in Halkalı Merkez, İnönü, and İstasyon neighborhoods between 09.00-17.00. In Başakşehir, electricity will be cut in Altınşehir Neighborhood between 09.00-12.00 and 09.00-17.00, depending on the streets. In Ziya Gökalp Neighborhood, electricity will not be supplied between 11.00-15.00, and in Şahintepe Neighborhood between 12.00-17.00.
According to BEDAŞ’s outage map, electricity was cut around 11.43 in Atakent Neighborhood of Küçükçekmece and Başak Neighborhood of Başakşehir due to a grid failure. BEDAŞ stated that teams are working and that power is expected to be restored within approximately 2 hours.
BAYRAMPAŞA, BAKIRKÖY, AND ZEYTİNBURNU
In Bayrampaşa, an outage was carried out in Kocatepe Neighborhood between 00.00-07.00. In Altıntepsi, Kartaltepe, Muratpaşa, and Yıldırım neighborhoods, electricity will be cut between 08.00-15.00.
In Bakırköy, outages were implemented in Zeytinlik and Şenlikköy neighborhoods between 00.00-05.00. In Cevizlik, Kartaltepe, Yenimahalle, and Yeşilköy neighborhoods, electricity will not be supplied between 08.00-15.00. In Zeytinburnu, outages will also be carried out in Gökalp and Seyitnizam neighborhoods between 08.00-15.00.
ARNAVUTKÖY, AVCILAR, AND SARIYER
In Arnavutköy, an outage will be carried out in Atatürk Neighborhood between 09.00-17.00. In Nenehatun, Taşoluk, Yavuz Selim, and İslambey neighborhoods, electricity will be cut between 11.00-18.00.
In Avcılar, an outage was implemented in Cihangir Neighborhood between 01.00-04.00. In Ambarlı, Merkez, Mustafa Kemalpaşa, and Üniversite neighborhoods, there will be no electricity between 09.00-17.00. In Sarıyer, outages will be carried out in Ayazağa, Reşitpaşa, Darüşşafaka, and Çamlıtepe neighborhoods between 09.00-16.00.
OTHER DISTRICTS
In Hürriyet Neighborhood of Bahçelievler and Fatih Neighborhood of Bağcılar, electricity will not be supplied between 09.00-17.00. At the same hours, outages will also be implemented in Ferhatpaşa and Kaleiçi neighborhoods in Çatalca. In Defterdar Neighborhood of Eyüpsultan, an outage was carried out between 00.00-03.00.
