According to the forecasts of the General Directorate of Meteorology, heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected in the northern and eastern parts of the country, especially in Thrace. Local heavy showers are predicted in Edirne, Kırklareli, and Tekirdağ. In Istanbul, showers and thunderstorms will be effective after evening hours. Particularly in the Southeastern region, air temperatures will be above seasonal norms.
According to forecasts from the General Directorate of Meteorology, the northern and eastern parts of the country are expected to be partly and locally very cloudy, with rain and thunderstorms in Thrace, Istanbul, Kocaeli, Yalova, Bursa, Bilecik, Trabzon, Rize, Erzurum, Artvin, Ardahan, Kars, and Ağrı surroundings, as well as the inland parts of Ordu and Giresun and eastern Van, while other areas will be partly cloudy and clear.
WEATHER IN THRACE
Precipitation is expected to be in the form of locally heavy showers and thunderstorms in Edirne and Kırklareli surroundings and inland parts of Tekirdağ.
No significant change in air temperature is expected, and it is forecast to continue above seasonal norms. The wind is expected to blow light to moderate from northerly directions generally and from southerly directions on the Mediterranean coast.
