The singer, who chatted briefly with journalists, stated that she left her artistic life due to stress and escaped to Bodrum.

Tekindor, who shook up the music charts with her song "Yıkılıyo" released in 2004, made a radical decision to leave Istanbul at the peak of her fame. Preferring to lead a quiet life in Bodrum, the artist explained years later why she made such a decision: "Actually, I had already left my profession while living in Istanbul. I have a house in Bodrum and I spent eight years there, summer and winter. The reason I left the stages is completely stress. I even get tense just seeing those who go on stage now. It's a tough job, and it no longer has the same flavor."

According to a report by Milliyet, after years spent in harmony with nature, the famous singer returned to Istanbul, stating that Bodrum becomes too quiet in the winter months, expressing the following words: "We got a bit bored in winter. The pandemic period went well, but Bodrum winters are a retirement place. There is life in the city, there are young people. I returned after years, but now the weather is warming up, and I started to feel excited. Maybe I'll go again, who knows!"
