In the waters off the district of Kuşadası in Aydın, a rubber boat carrying illegal migrants attempting to cross to the Greek islands was intercepted by the Coast Guard teams. Six migrants fell into the sea from the boat that did not comply with the 'stop' warning, three of whom drowned, while three others went missing. Among the 32 migrants brought ashore, one injured person was taken to the hospital, and a search and rescue operation was initiated for the three missing migrants. THE BODIES OF 3 MISSING MIGRANTS HAVE BEEN FOUNDThe Coast Guard Command teams detected a rubber boat in motion off the coast of the Davutlar neighborhood in Kuşadası around 11:00 PM. The teams that sprang into action warned the illegal migrants on the rubber boat to 'stop.' The illegal migrants on the rubber boat, who did not heed the Coast Guard's warning, attempted to escape. During this time, six of the illegal migrants on the rubber boat fell into the sea. The bodies of three illegal migrants were recovered, while 32 people on the boat were brought ashore. One injured illegal migrant was taken to the hospital for treatment.
