The pressure for fuel price hikes continues. After diesel, a price increase for gasoline has also emerged. It was stated that if prices continue to rise in global markets, a hike of around 1 TL for gasoline could occur within a few days.
The resurgence of conflict between the US and Iran, tensions in the Strait of Hormuz, and diesel shortages in global markets have turned vehicle fuel tanks into a fire hazard. Diesel has been increased by 1.12 Turkish Liras as of today. It has been stated that a new price hike for gasoline is also on the way.
GASOLINE PRICE HIKE ON THE WAY
Industry sources indicated that if global market prices continue to rise, gasoline could see an increase of around 1 Turkish Lira within a few days.
ANOTHER DIESEL PRICE INCREASE AT THE DOOR
Sources stated that the metric ton price of diesel continues to rise, saying, "It has exceeded $1,200. This could trigger new increases in diesel."
