MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli played the march he had prepared for the National Team competing in the World Cup before starting his speech at the party group meeting. Stating that the march was prepared by nationalist artists, Bahçeli said, "I kiss their eyes."
With only days left until the 2026 FIFA World Cup grand tournament, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli surprised the Turkish National Football Team with a supportive anthem. Taking the stage at his party's group meeting, Bahçeli played the anthem he specially commissioned for the national team, who will compete in the tournament held in the USA.
"BY CONSIDERING THE ÜLKÜCÜ SENSITIVITY..."
Referring to other anthems prepared before the tournament, Bahçeli said, "On the occasion of the Turkish national team's participation in the World Cup in the USA, many circles had launched a competition for some anthems. They were planning to see off our team with a repetition of some things said in the past. In such a period, I requested our ülkücü artists, considering the ülkücü sensitivity, and said 'Prepare an anthem'."

The MHP leader, who argued that the national team should be sent off to this historic tournament with a strong and original spirit, thanked the artists who quickly responded to his call.
