In his statements at the party group, MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli said, "We need to discuss how the budget of our Ministry of National Education touches the souls, characters, and abilities of our children as much as it does physical investments. Resources should expand horizons as much as they raise bricks."

In his statements at the MHP Group Meeting in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli made striking remarks regarding the school attacks in Şanlıurfa and Kahramanmaraş.

"TURKISH YOUTH CAUGHT BETWEEN TEST AND TOAST"

Bahçeli stated, "Education is not a subject of daily political struggles, narrow ideological calculations, or sterile polemics. Education is directly related to national survival. Education is the future of the nation. Education is a vital stage where a tree bends while it is still young, where character is shaped in early ages, and where it is determined what kind of identity a nation will acquire in the future. Turkish youth should not be a generation caught between tests and toasts, forced to fit their dreams into five options, running from exam to exam, accumulating points, and missing out on life while chasing certificates. Turkish youth should be raised with an understanding that knows as much about music as it does about compulsion, that understands literature as much as it grasps physics, that grows with technology but does not detach from art, that knows the world but does not alienate from its own roots," he said.

REFERENCE TO THE MINISTRY OF NATIONAL EDUCATION'S BUDGET

Touching on the budget of the Ministry of National Education, Bahçeli stated, "We need to discuss how the budget of our Ministry of National Education touches the souls, characters, and abilities of our children as much as it does physical investments. Resources should elevate not only bricks but also horizons. It should prioritize the mental and physical health of young generations as much as it opens the doors to new classrooms. It should build personalities as much as it arranges desks. If necessary, we can share a loaf of bread, if necessary, we can reduce our portion. However, we cannot deprive our children of the books they want to read, the workshops where they will conduct research and learn crafts, the sports fields where they will be raised as national athletes, and the stages where they will elevate Turkish songs. We must create space for minds that shine with mathematics, for tongues that are solved with poetry, for wrists that gain discipline through sports, and for hearts that gain courage on stage," he expressed.
