Bahçeli's reaction to the "illegal meeting" at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality: The municipal administration has become corrupt.

MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli stated, "Those who use frequency jammers and record camera footage are known. Those who organize illegal meetings in luxury hotels are evident. A bribery network has been established in the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality in exchange for zoning and permits. The municipal administration has become corrupt."

The Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), Devlet Bahçeli, used strong expressions regarding the meeting that entered the corruption investigation file against the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) and resonated widely in the public. Bahçeli stated, "Those who use frequency jammers and record camera footage are known. Those who hold illegal meetings in luxury hotels are evident. A bribery network has been established in exchange for zoning and permits at IBB. The municipal administration has become rotten."

MHP leader Bahçeli's evaluations on current issues are as follows: "The ongoing campaign of harsh, tedious, and destructive black propaganda aimed at continuously provoking and disseminating high-frequency disputes and bottomless improprieties is in a relentless progression. There is an identity-less and incompetent hybrid mind in operation, which is eager to create chaos across our country, burning with the intention of sabotaging the environment of trust and stability; attempting to rehearse this with systematic, violent, and nerve-wracking unethical tactics."

Our Turkey is being threatened from every front and direction. This threat is open, despicable, immoral, and alarming in nature. A political and ideological mob that disregards the law and democratic virtues is recklessly challenging the state's sovereign rights and the rule of law.

If we need to name this threatening mob correctly; it is the Republican People's Party (CHP), which is externally instructed and internally supplied. The CHP, which has turned into a party of provocation, is under intense suspicion and doubt. No patch is of the size and dimension to cover the political tear in front of us. So much so that the CHP is a bleeding wound, a boiling pot, and lost time. In this ugly and flawed political understanding, the clean and the dirty have intertwined, and cleanliness and filth have become inseparable.

Right and wrong, halal and haram, beautiful and ugly, dignity and disgrace, truth and rhetoric have swapped places. The CHP has turned its back on principles and will, faith and reputation, national independence and future. Unfortunately, Turkish politics is going through a strange, inconsistent, and painful period.

The security of democracy and law in our country is exposed to successive and multiple political operations, subjected to the vortex of action-oriented rallies stemming from mass crowds. Indeed, the grave and existing foggy landscape is critical and equally fragile. The endless sense of guilt observed in the CHP, the growing anxiety and panic attacks cannot be alleviated by the supply of mud politics; it is of significant importance and seriousness.

We are experiencing large-scale military, political, economic, and diplomatic shocks that give the feeling that we are on the brink of a new world, where strategic knots are widespread, and the blockages in tariffs and trade are hardening. The internal engagement of Turkey inevitably brings many possibilities to mind.

In this context, it is possible and necessary to mention five main agenda topics that we evaluate as having internal and external connections with the developments that our esteemed nation is subjected to, where the CHP is used like a tool:

First; the open or hidden discomforts and digestion difficulties that the CHP and the political parties aligned with it feel regarding the goal of a terrorism-free Turkey.

As is known, with the end of terrorism, Turkey will add strength to its power, and a peace and tranquility belt will be established in its internal front and neighboring geographical areas.

It is a well-known fact that the CHP, which thinks they are good with orders, does not have the will to escape from the calamity of terrorism, nor do they want to; this is somewhat known.

The lines of Özgür Özel, the Chairman of the CHP, in his ranting speech in Mersin, and the claim that the only crime of the currently detained Esenyurt Mayor, who has been removed from his position, is being Kurdish, is divisive, and a bad and crippled political language.

Özgür Özel is embodying and speaking for discord.

Terror is one thing, my Kurdish brothers are entirely different.

Those who evaluate the two together are pure traitors to the homeland.

Özgür Özel's statements and stance, his imaginary accusations, and his attempts to undermine Turkey's internal balance and political stability are at a level that would make even the enemy tip their hat.

Anyone waiting to sow discord between Turks and Kurds is an imperialist weapon directed at the homeland and the nation.

The path of the CHP Chairman and management, who winks at countries with aggressive and oppressive ambitions, gives green lights, waves, and sends coded messages, is wrong, their method is flawed, and their mind and heart are corrupted.

Simultaneously with Özgür Özel's provocation in Mersin, at the "Unity and Common Attitude Conference" organized in the city of Qamishli, with the encouragement and support of the USA and France, by ENKS and PYD, separatist demands were voiced, and decisions contrary to Syria's political and territorial integrity were made.

A non-centralized solution proposal, which excludes the unitary structure, has been opened for discussion in Syria.

Of course, the Damascus administration has vehemently rejected the decisions and statements of this flawed, defective, authorized, and opportunistic conference, emphasizing that the unity of the Syrian Arab Republic and the integrity of its land and people is a red line.

The March 10 agreement between the terrorist Mazlum Abdi and the President of the Syrian Transitional Government, Ahmed Shara, has been violated under the influence, persuasion, and imposition of external elements.

It is vital for regional peace and future that this violation is remedied, and the PYD/YPG terrorist organization lays down its arms and integrates into the Syrian Arab Republic according to the established roadmap.

The DEM Party, which is making progress with determination and patience in the direction of becoming a party of Turkey, must react to the game played in Qamishli as a matter of consistency.

The PKK must immediately surrender its weapons, hold its congress, and complete the organizational dissolution process to ensure that the goal of a terrorism-free Turkey is not infected and that no complications arise.

It is essential to adhere to the call made on February 27 in Imralı without any preconditions, and to show respect and obedience to the person regarded as the leader of the separatist terrorist organization.

There is no other way out or excuse left to take refuge in.

Especially, the efforts of DEM Party Istanbul Deputy and Deputy Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Mr. Sırrı Süreyya Önder, who is still fighting for his life, and the joint steps taken so far should not be wasted.

The Qamishli provocation is a disgraceful act of adding water to a cooked dish.

Remaining closed to this is a matter of honor that is humane, national, and undoubtedly moral, to remove terrorism from the country's and region's agenda.

There is a high need for sincere, realistic, humane, and honest attitudes that bring together opposing poles, resolve contradictions, and cut prejudices like a knife.

To speak and understand with inner depth, effective reasoning ability, and comprehension skills that do not succumb to clichés, to open clenched fists and shake hands is in everyone's interest.

Common understanding, common sense, common action, and common virtue will minimize potential road accidents.

Secondly; the ongoing genocide in Gaza, the continuation of the Israeli Prime Minister's murder spree, is naturally of great concern to our country due to the bloody events manifesting in friendly and neighboring countries.

Turkey stands firmly against the humanitarian drama and the escalating genocide crime in Gaza alongside the oppressed Palestinian people.

In line with our country's moral stance, there are historical duties that it will undertake, which are of undeniable importance and value, and will not involve denial and exploitation.

The Israeli administration must come to its senses and should not leave Turkey, as the leader of Islamic countries, in a position where it must intervene in this historical duty on the ground and through the use of force.

Due to the unresolved Kashmir issue for 72 years, Pakistan and India have also come to the brink of war.

Our hope is that common sense, peaceful dialogues, and lasting tranquility will prevail between these two countries, avoiding armed conflicts that would lead to disaster.

In the explosion that occurred on April 26 at the Shahid Rezaei Port in Bandar Abbas, Hormozgan province of Iran, many people lost their lives.

We extend our condolences to our friend and brother country Iran on this occasion and share in their pain.

A strong state is one that defends human values in every corner of the world, stands out with mercy and conscience diplomacy, and is also a state with clear deterrence and sanctions.

The Turkish Century will be crowned by such a powerful and successful state, the fortune of the Turkish nation will be brightened, and a miraculous and dazzling crescent light will shine in the world.

To prevent this, the CHP is operating the machinery of propaganda.

While babies in Gaza die from lack of food and medicine, the CHP's agenda is to walk in the footsteps of Zionism.

As a new world is being established, the CHP is laying dynamite at the foundations of Turkey.

Mr. Özgür Özel, who calls our President to a duel and automates his slanders and accusations, has not only lost his mind but has also rolled up his sleeves to become a subject of clinical psychology.

Thirdly; the language of violence that meddles with Turkey's social and economic structure, the illegal actions staged in the guise of women, and the timed provocations trying to terrorize the streets are all attempts to create a bottleneck in the social spirit and moral fabric.

The Turkish economy has left behind the most difficult stages, has overcome the toughest processes, and inflation has been on the decline for 10 months.

Although the risk of global recession is evident, even if danger bells are ringing on the horizon, and trade channels are beginning to close, Turkey will manage to withstand potential external economic turbulence with its national unity and solidarity strength, turning risks into opportunities.

Moreover, this is the clear and encouraging reality that has already emerged.

Those who are queuing to turn periodic economic problems into political and social reactions must first account for the organized corruption network that has infiltrated municipalities and is plundering public resources.

Those who have stolen from the people's pockets and the state's treasury are known, and legal processes are underway regarding them.

Respecting and adhering to Turkish justice is a duty that is not replaceable by anyone.

Fourthly; the recent detention of nearly 50 suspects due to the investigation into forming an organization, rigging tenders, bribery, and qualified fraud surrounding the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.

It is evident that the situation has deteriorated, and the municipal administration has become corrupt.

According to the statements of witnesses, complainants, and businessmen benefiting from effective repentance, a horrific bribery and extortion network has been established in exchange for zoning, permits, and occupancy certificates, allegedly linked to Ekrem İmamoğlu since his years as the Mayor of Beylikdüzü.

Those who organize illegal meetings in luxury hotels are evident.

Those who spend more time in expensive hotel rooms and lobbies than in Saraçhane have acted against the philosophy of the Republic, which is the refuge of the helpless.

The distinction between good and bad has been made.

During these meetings, suspicious individuals who used frequency jammers, covered security cameras with napkins when necessary, and left the area with suitcases whose contents became a mystery at the end of the meeting are known.

Özgür Özel's confessions and claims are merely the hasty attempts of a desperate person to cover up crime and criminals, and they are as follows:

"If a jammer is being used against Erdoğan, a jammer is also being used against the future president."

Özgür Özel's claims are disgraceful and foolish in terms of political and intellectual integrity.

The General Directorate of Security has stated who will use frequency jammers based on the Electronic Communications Law No. 5809.

It has been clarified that mayors do not have such rights, powers, and privileges.

Moreover, the management of the hotel where Ekrem İmamoğlu felt the need to hold secret meetings, despite having many offices or buildings of the Metropolitan Municipality, has shared with the public that no frequency jammers were used on the mentioned date.

Indeed, they were caught red-handed, and dirty laundry has been exposed.

Who will be held accountable for those who reach into the public treasury, spend the rights of the innocent child on political financing, erect money towers, hide phone numbers during interrogations, constantly evade answering questions, use courier lawyers while in prison, continuously publish messages despite being detained, and exert pressure and blackmail on witnesses?

Özgür Özel's statement that "the government has two targets: the first is to seize the will of the nation, and the second is to seize the rent of Istanbul" is the lament of a fool who has fallen into the pitch-black darkness of lawlessness, a fearful slander.

The CHP has betrayed the trust placed in it and has avoided facing justice.

However, this escape will be of no benefit and will not lead to any reasonable or acceptable outcome.

Fifthly; of course, the issue of earthquakes, which is on our country's agenda at the level of survival.

The 6.2 magnitude earthquake that occurred in the Sea of Marmara on April 23, 2025, has justifiably caused great concern among our nation, especially our brothers in Istanbul.

The earthquake is an eternal reality of life and our geography.

With our urbanization and city planning policies, we are obliged to build and revive our existence plans in accordance with this reality.

Istanbul is our apple of the eye, our light of the eye, and our fortress of heart and civilization.

It is a wise and commendable decision for the Presidential Cabinet to mobilize with a spirit of mobilization and as an urgent agenda against earthquakes.

It has been announced that 1.5 million buildings in Istanbul are at risk, and the number of housing units waiting for transformation is around 600,000.

The bankrupt politicians who have not driven a nail in Istanbul since 2018 have had a single goal from the beginning: not to honorably assume the role of mayor, but rather to shape their political career appetites by using the chair they sit on as a stepping stone.

``````html
My brothers and sisters from Istanbul have been deceived, misled, and their hopes have been shattered.
This is injustice; it is greed, opportunism, and meanness that do not fit within the principles of political morality and ethics.
The political mentality that opposes Kanal Istanbul and constantly raises a fuss, and that objects to urban transformation, has failed even in the preparatory phase of combating earthquakes, showing no foresight or effort whatsoever.
I believe that the People's Alliance will implement earthquake-resistant housing in Istanbul with tremendous boldness and will fully embrace this noble city.
Furthermore, the contradictory and completely conflicting words and evaluations of those who work on earthquake issues and those who have made mixed statements their profession cannot be accepted.
In such a critical matter, acting in unison is a requirement of academic ethics and decorum, yet this has not been achieved.
Even though an optimistic statement by one of our earthquake expert academics, suggesting that there is no longer any earthquake danger in Istanbul due to the complete rupture of the fault line in the Kumburgaz basin, has soothed hearts, it is essential to take sequential precautions without delay or interruption.
To the remnants of occupation who wish for Istanbul to be abandoned, I say this: We will not abandon Istanbul, which we have made our homeland with our blood and lives, nor will we give up even a single stone of it; we will not turn our backs.
The result of a poor mind is a haughty tongue.
This language is devoid of vigilant intelligence, far from independent conscience, and is the language of the CHP, which is afflicted with enmity towards Turks and Turkey, and it is extremely dangerous.
The current CHP administration has degraded and transformed to the extent of aspiring to play the role of the spearhead for the cruel forces that have designs on our national unity, national existence, and independence, and that have come to our very doorstep.
At this stage, to say CHP means a cycle of concession, humiliation, and surrender.
To say CHP means corruption, theft, bribery, plunder, and devastation.
To say CHP means shamelessness that relies on crisis, conflict, and chaos.
It is a futile dream for this CHP to have a place in the future of Turkey.
I sincerely wish to be known that from oppression, grace will emerge, and the superpower Turkey ideal will rise like a giant in the synthesis of strength and power, within national unity and brotherhood.
Among the witnesses of that blessed awakening and uprising, there will be no Özgür Özel and his ilk.
