STATEMENTS ON THE AGENDA AT THE CONGRESS
Great Unity Party Chairman Mustafa Destici attended the 14th Ankara Ordinary Provincial Congress held at the party's Altınpark Congress Center. Entering the hall accompanied by a mehter team, Destici touched on topics such as Mother's Day, terrorism, stray animals, and child abuse in his speech.
“MAY OUR MOTHERS NOT CRY”
Referring to the events in Gaza, East Turkestan, and Turkey, Destici spoke about the pain experienced by mothers, saying, “Our mothers are shedding tears everywhere. As BBP, we say that our mothers should no longer cry.”
“WE WILL HANG ALL 30 OF THEM”
Reacting strongly to child abuse incidents, Destici stated, “We are talking about a 13-year-old girl. Which religion, which conscience can tolerate this? We will change the constitution, we will bring back the death penalty, we will hang all 30 of them as a lesson.”
Destici noted the following:
"These child rapists, just yesterday, dozens of people abused a 13-year-old child. We are talking about a 13-year-old girl. So, which religion can tolerate this, which humanity, which conscience? Did 30 people commit this immorality, this brutality? We will change the constitution, we will bring back the death penalty, we will hang all 30 of them as a lesson. If you don't do it this way, these incidents will continue. They won't decrease. Indeed, we see. They are not decreasing."
