A new wave of operations has been carried out as part of the drug investigation targeting celebrities. While 23 people, including Kenan Doğulu, Beren Saat, Enis Arıkan, Kerimcan Durmaz, and Selin Ciğerci, were detained, cannabis, precision scales, grinders, and drug paraphernalia were seized during searches at the addresses of model Tessy Ramos Correia and Mehmet Yıldız.
As part of a drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, simultaneous operations were carried out at numerous addresses. In the operation, 23 people, including well-known names from the art, entertainment, business, and show business worlds, were taken into custody.
The detained suspects were taken to the police station for statements after their health checks.
KENAN DOĞULU, BEREN SAAT, ENIS ARIKAN, KERIMCAN DURMAZ...
Among the names detained in the operation were Kenan Doğulu, Beren Saat, Enis Arıkan, Kerimcan Durmaz, Ayşe Hatun Önal, Berdan Mardini, Ozan Doğulu, Yaşar İpek, and Selin Ciğerci, all well-known to the public. It was learned that the suspects' procedures at the police station are ongoing as part of the investigation.
ADNAN BEKER'S SON ALSO DETAINED
It was learned that among those detained in the investigation was Oğuzhan Beker, the son of CHP Ankara Deputy Adnan Beker.
EFFORTS CONTINUE FOR 4 SUSPECTS
While searches were carried out at some addresses and workplaces as part of the operation, it was stated that investigation-related procedures are ongoing at the police station. It was learned that efforts to capture 4 individuals related to the case are continuing.
DRUGS AND PARAPHERNALIA FOUND AT ADDRESSES
During searches conducted as part of the operation, narcotics and drug paraphernalia were seized at some addresses. It was learned that 7.43 grams of cannabis were found during a search at the address of model Tessy Ramos Correia.
During a search targeting Mehmet Yıldız, 1 precision scale and 1 grinder were seized. Additionally, it was stated that 1 gram of cannabis was found during a search conducted at a business called Cheeky Club.
INVESTIGATION CONTINUES
While the statement procedures of the suspects at the police station continue, it was reported that the investigation is ongoing from multiple angles. It will become clear whether the detained individuals will be referred to the courthouse after the prosecutor's process.
