Necmeddin Bilal Erdogan, Chairman of the YETEV Board of Trustees, attended the wedding ceremony of Merve Varlı and M. Zahid Tüfekçi in Ankara and served as a witness to the couple's marriage. Reminding of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's long-standing call for three children, Bilal Erdogan said for the young couple, 'Let us all pray together that they have at least three children.' After his speech, he handed the marriage certificate to the bride.
Bilal Erdogan attended the wedding ceremony of Merve Varli and M. Zahid Tufekci held in Ankara. Necmeddin Bilal Erdogan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the New Turkey Education Foundation (YETEV), who served as the couple's wedding witness, made statements about marriage and family at the ceremony.
Noting that the couple is stepping into an important period of their lives, Bilal Erdogan said that marriage is one of the most beautiful moments in a person's life.
"NOTHING COULD BE MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN THIS"
Stating that the young couple's families, friends, and relatives came together on this special day, Bilal Erdogan described marriage as "the first step of a lifelong union."
Erdogan said, "The families, guests, and friends of this young couple have come together on this happy evening. Two young Muslim siblings are deciding to unite their lives for a very auspicious and blessed great step."
Pointing out the importance of this moment in the couple's lives, Erdogan said, "Nothing could be more beautiful than this. This night is one of the most beautiful moments one can experience in life."
"THE FAMILY IS TRULY SACRED"
In his speech, Erdogan also touched upon the religious and social importance of the family, noting that marriage is a significant responsibility.
Saying, "This is the word of our Prophet and the command of Allah," Erdogan emphasized the importance of couples embarking on the marriage journey sharing their happiness with their families and loved ones.
In this part of his speech, Erdogan said, "Because the family is truly sacred."
REMINDED OF PRESIDENT ERDOGAN'S THREE-CHILDREN CALL
One of the highlights of Bilal Erdogan's speech at the wedding ceremony was his advice regarding the number of children. Reminding of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's long-standing call for "at least three children," Bilal Erdogan also expressed the same wish for the young couple.
Emphasizing the importance of marriage for the continuation of generations and the strength of society, Erdogan said, "Our President has been saying for twenty years that there should be at least three children."
Then, addressing the guests at the wedding, Erdogan said, "Therefore, let us all pray together that, God willing, these siblings will have at least three children."
