Didem Ceran underwent a blessing ritual in Bali to rid herself of the traces left by the process she experienced after the skin surgeries she had in Korea.
Content creator Didem Ceran performed a purification ritual in Bali to leave behind the difficult process she experienced after facial surgeries in Korea. Ceran shared the emotions she felt during the ritual in a post on her social media account.
Ceran, who went under the water considered sacred in Bali, stated that this was not an ordinary washing. She noted that according to belief, this ritual cleanses people of sins, negative energies, and the weight of the past.
Also touching on the process she went through, Ceran expressed that she left behind the fear, anger, and disappointments she felt in recent months, as well as the injustices done to her, in the water.
In her post, Ceran conveyed the impact of the process on her with the words, "The damage left on my face in Korea may heal one day. But I had no intention of carrying the darkness it left on my soul any longer."
Saying she felt different after the ritual, Ceran stated, "I was cleansed of the darkness I experienced in Korea. I was blessed with holy water. When I came out of the water, I was in the same body, but I did not come out with the same soul."
At the end of her post, Ceran also asked her followers, "Do you think I truly cleansed myself, or is it not holy water but only one's own confrontation that cleanses a person's soul?"
