Unfortunately, the vision of Mr. Ekrem İmamoğlu, which embraces every segment of Turkey, has not been fully comprehended by some individuals within the CHP district organizations. Since the day we joined CHP and were elected, we have unfortunately faced many problems and marginalization."

Continuing his statement, Miniç expressed that he has been subjected to ugly attacks recently, saying, "However, due to the promise you made to Mr. İmamoğlu, we overlooked many issues. We served our beloved Beykoz day and night. However, in light of the ugly attacks targeting myself and my family that we have experienced recently, it has become impossible for us to endure any longer. Unfortunately, we have not had the opportunity to evaluate and consult with Mr. Ekrem İmamoğlu due to his detention. I declare that I have resigned from party membership in order not to harm the institutional identity of CHP until our presidential candidate, Ekrem İmamoğlu, regains his freedom," he said.
