Blood was shed in a family dispute over a land disagreement in the Ergani district of Diyarbakır. The older brother Z.Ş. blocked the moving vehicle and opened fire on his brother Hüseyin Şenol and his family. As a result of the ambush, the unfortunate man died at the scene, while his wife was seriously injured and his son was lightly wounded. DISPUTE HAD BEEN ONGOING FOR A LONG TIME
The incident occurred in the Çukurdere neighborhood of the Ergani district. According to information obtained, the long-standing land dispute between the brothers had turned into an act of revenge. The older brother, Z.Ş., blocked the path of the light commercial vehicle in which his brother Hüseyin Şenol was traveling with his family and opened fire.
A HAIL OF BULLETS ON A MOVING VEHICLE
According to allegations, the brother Z.Ş., who set up the ambush, grabbed his weapon as soon as he saw his brother's vehicle. The light commercial vehicle, targeted by bullets, veered out of control, leaving family members inside covered in blood. Upon reports from nearby citizens who heard gunshots, numerous gendarmerie and emergency medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
FATHER LOSES LIFE, MOTHER FIGHTS FOR HER LIFE
During initial checks by medical teams arriving at the scene, it was determined that Hüseyin Şenol, at the wheel, had died horribly at the scene from the gunfire. It was also noted that his wife, Seçim Şenol, who was in the same vehicle and was also targeted by bullets, was in serious condition. The seriously injured mother and her son, who survived the attack wounded, were taken to hospital for treatment after initial interventions in the ambulance. Hüseyin Şenol's lifeless body was taken to the morgue for an autopsy.
4 SUSPECTS INCLUDING THE BROTHER CAUGHT RED-HANDED
A large-scale investigation was launched by gendarmerie teams to capture the attackers who fled after the incident. Surrounding the area, the gendarmerie apprehended and detained 4 suspects in simultaneous operations. It was learned that among those arrested was the 59-year-old older brother, Z.Ş., who is alleged to have committed the murder. The processing of the 4 detained suspects continues under heavy security measures at the gendarmerie.
