In the Çarşamba district of Samsun, a boat carrying 5 people from the same family capsized at sea, resulting in 3 individuals being rescued while search efforts continue for the 2 missing persons.
BOAT CAPSIZED
According to information obtained, 5 members of the same family set sail in the afternoon off the Costal area of Çarşamba district on a 4.5-meter-long boat. Due to waves caused by windy weather, the boat capsized after a while. The 5 people on board disappeared among the waves.
3 FOUND, 2 MISSING
Upon notification from nearby citizens, numerous coast guard, medical, and police teams were dispatched to the area. Three of the family members in the sea were pulled from the water and brought ashore by the teams. An extensive search and rescue operation was launched in the area to find the other 2 missing individuals.
Diver police officers from the Samsun Provincial Police Department continue search efforts at sea without interruption to locate the missing citizens.
