While driving in Arnavutkoy, a car driver who warned a motorcyclist playing on his cell phone faced an unexpected attack. The motorcyclist stopped the car and attacked the driver with a screwdriver he had with him. Following the incident, which was captured second by second on the vehicle's camera, teams from the Arnavutkoy District Police Department Public Order Bureau launched an investigation and quickly caught the attacker. A traffic fine of 226,000 TL was imposed on the individual, who was then taken into custody and brought to the police station for legal proceedings.

The incident occurred in the Hadımköy neighborhood of Arnavutkoy. According to claims, the car driver, who was driving in traffic, warned the motorcyclist playing on his phone by saying, "Stop playing with your phone, watch the road." Angered by the warning, the motorcyclist told the car driver, "Pull over to the right, man," and demanded that he stop the vehicle. After the car stopped, the attacker got off the motorcycle, grabbed a screwdriver, and approached the car driver. The moments of tension and attack were recorded second by second by the vehicle's camera. The footage shows the motorcyclist stopping the car, taking the screwdriver and walking toward the driver, causing a brief panic in the area.
IDENTIFIED FROM VEHICLE CAMERA
After the car driver filed a complaint at the police station along with the footage, teams from the Arnavutkoy District Police Department Public Order Bureau quickly identified the attacker. As a result of the investigations, the 21-year-old motorcyclist, identified as Y.İ., was apprehended and taken into custody. Legal proceedings were initiated against the suspect, and it was learned that during traffic inspections, the motorcyclist was fined a total of 226,000 TL for various violations and was taken to the police station for legal procedures.
The motorcyclist will be referred to the courthouse after police procedures.
