BOTAŞ has updated the natural gas consumption limits for 81 provinces for November and December under the tiered tariff for residential subscribers. The limits, which vary by province, determine the monthly consumption threshold to be taken as the basis for residential subscribers in tiered pricing.

Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAŞ) updated the province-based consumption limits for November and December within the scope of the tiered natural gas tariff applied to households.

NATURAL GAS CONSUMPTION LIMITS CHANGED

According to the table published on BOTAŞ's website, the monthly natural gas consumption limits to be used as the basis for tiered pricing for residential subscribers in 81 provinces have been determined.

Accordingly, in November, the natural gas consumption limit was 283.78 cubic meters in Ankara, 136.01 cubic meters in Istanbul, and 67.97 cubic meters in Izmir.

In December, these limits were set as 420 cubic meters in Ankara, 259.35 cubic meters in Istanbul, and 196.23 cubic meters in Izmir.

The consumption limits, which vary by province, are calculated by taking into account climate conditions and natural gas consumption data from previous years.
