13.12.2024 11:31

An investigation permit has been granted by the Ministry of Interior regarding Osman Bilgin, the former governor of Kırklareli, who failed to explain his assets worth 98 million, registered in his and his family's name.

Important developments have occurred regarding the then-governor Osman Bilgin, who was found at fault in the expert report prepared for the flood disaster that took place in Kırklareli in June 2023. T24 writer Tolga Şardan emphasized that Osman Bilgin could not explain his assets worth 98 million lira, claiming that the Ministry of Interior has granted permission for an investigation against Bilgin within the framework of the Sisli Vadi case.

DID HE TURN A BLIND EYE TO ILLEGAL FACILITIES?

Shardan stated that the investigation permission was approved by Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, and the report indicated that Bilgin ignored illegal facilities, turning a blind eye to the fact that six citizens lost their lives in the flood disaster.
