Doctors G.Ö. and C.G., who are accused of taking bribes from patients who will undergo surgery at Üsküdar State Hospital, have been detained as part of an investigation initiated by the Anadolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
Two doctors working at Üsküdar State Hospital were detained following allegations of bribery from patients.
INVESTIGATION INITIATED
The Anadolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office initiated an investigation into allegations of bribery from patients who were to undergo surgery at Üsküdar State Hospital.
ILLEGALLY RECEIVED ADDITIONAL FEES
Investigations revealed that doctors G.Ö. and C.G. illegally demanded additional fees for surgical procedures from patients who came for examinations. It has been learned that the investigation is ongoing.
