British Typhoon jets stationed at Malbork Air Base in Poland intervened with Russian reconnaissance aircraft detected over the Baltic Sea.

The Typhoon jets belonging to the Royal Air Force (RAF) of the United Kingdom took off twice in less than 48 hours against Russian warplanes to protect NATO airspace.

According to reports in the British press, the jets were put on alert in two separate incidents this week due to Kremlin aircraft approaching NATO's borders too closely.
