Businessman arrested in Istanbul prostitution investigation

Businessman Turgut Koç was arrested on charges of 'promoting or facilitating prostitution' as part of the prostitution investigation conducted in Istanbul.

The investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the crimes of "purchasing, accepting, or possessing drugs or stimulants for use," "using drugs or stimulants," and "promoting or mediating prostitution" continues.

COURT ORDERED ARREST

Yiğit Macit, who was arrested within the scope of the investigation, gave additional testimony to the prosecutor's office. In this context, businessman Turgut Koç was taken into custody regarding the claims mentioned in Macit's testimony.

Koç, taken to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan, was referred to the criminal judgeship of peace with a request for arrest on charges of "mediating prostitution" after his statement was taken at the prosecutor's office. The judgeship decided to arrest Koç for the crime he is accused of.
