The post by the Governorship stated, "Let's decorate our Istanbul with our glorious flag. We will not take a single step back from our independent Turkey, despite the traitors who seize the opportunity to hand over our heavenly homeland to imperialists... You will not succeed."
GOVERNORSHIP AND KIZILAY DISTRIBUTED LOKMA
In addition, the Istanbul Governorship and Kızılay distributed lokma (a type of sweet treat) after Friday prayers at Sinanpaşa Mosque and Yahya Efendi Mosque in Beşiktaş, in memory of those who were martyred in the July 15 coup attempt. After the prayer, tea and lokma were given to the citizens from a mobile vehicle.
In the Friday sermon, it was emphasized that FETÖ exploits religious, national, and spiritual values and poses a threat to the unity and integrity of the country and the survival of the state, and the dangerous nature of this organization was explained.
