WHO IS CAN AKSOY?

Can Aksoy, born in 1983 in the Altındağ district of Ankara, is originally from Kırşehir. He completed his primary and secondary education in Keçiören and graduated from the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at Ankara University in 2005. During his university years, Can Aksoy interned at the Turkish and Middle Eastern Public Administration Institute (TODAİE) Local Government Research and Training Center (YAYEM) (2002) and at the General Directorate of Laws and Decisions of the Prime Ministry of the Republic of Turkey.

Starting his career in the civil service as a Kırşehir District Governor Candidate in 2006, he completed his Inspection Internship in Giresun Province, his Accompaniment Internship in Polatlı, Ankara, and his Provincial Internships in Kırşehir Province, and served as a deputy district governor in Korgun District of Çankırı Province (2006). In 2007, he was sent to England, Leicester University by the Ministry of Interior for one year to participate in foreign language training and professional training programs. After his overseas education, he completed the 40th Public Diplomacy Course at the Turkish Middle East and Public Administration Institute. Aksoy, who completed the 93rd District Governorship Course of the Ministry of Interior with "Outstanding Success," started his duty as the District Governor of Beyoğlu in 2023.
