Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney arrived in Ankara to attend the 36th NATO Leaders Summit hosted by Turkey after 22 years. As the plane carrying Carney and his delegation landed at Ankara Esenboğa Airport, the Canadian Prime Minister was welcomed by Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek.

Canadian Prime Minister Carney was welcomed at the airport by Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek.
As Turkey hosts the NATO Summit again after 22 years, numerous heads of state and government are gathering in Ankara. During the summit, critical topics such as Euro-Atlantic security, defense spending, the Ukraine war, and the future of the alliance are expected to be discussed.
