WENT TO THE RESTAURANT WITH A RIFLE
The incident occurred at a restaurant in the Yılanlı area of Menteşe around 01:00. An argument broke out between Coşkun K. and Halil Korkut for an undetermined reason. As the argument escalated, Coşkun K. fired at Korkut with the rifle he had with him.
Korkut died from the pellets that struck his body. After the incident, Coşkun K., who fled in a vehicle with license plate 48 AHT 851, was captured about an hour later at Şenyayla Cemetery along with the weapon used in the crime.
KILLED HIS BROTHER-IN-LAW 11 YEARS AGO
As the investigation into the incident continues, it was reported that Coşkun K. had killed his brother-in-law Aytekin Köse, whom he held responsible for the death of his sister who died from gas poisoning from a stove 11 years ago, by shooting him twice in the chest in the middle of the street, and that he was recently released from prison.
