A response came from rapper Vahap Canbay, the ex-boyfriend of Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu, who was arrested in the investigation of the armed attack that led to the death of Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı and claimed in her statement that the 21-year-old footballer was 'doing her dirty work.' ALEYNA KALAYCIOĞLU'S STATEMENT REVEALED: HE WOULD DO THE ERRANDS Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu stated in her testimony to the police that she knew 21-year-old Kundakçı through her ex-boyfriend Vahap Canbay. Kalaycıoğlu claimed that Kundakçı did errands for Vahap Canbay, saying, "Vahap would use him as a driver when needed, sometimes sending him for grocery shopping. He did these tasks not for monetary compensation but out of his closeness to him. Sometimes Vahap would send Kubilay to me to help me, to provide my transportation. He was a brother I loved very much. We had a close relationship. We would meet and talk independently of Vahap," she said.

Canbay, stating that "Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı is no different from my own brother," continued: "We were all together for dinner before the incident. He calls the kid an errand boy. Don't you fear God? That kid carried your disabled brother on his back. I remember with my own eyes, I swear he carried him on his back. Do you have no respect for the dead? This kid came to our weddings, came to our funerals. This kid went on vacations with us. This kid took you from Istanbul to Fethiye for a concert alone. Canbay and Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu WHAT HAPPENED? The incident occurred on the night of March 19 on Sıddık Street in Ümraniye. According to allegations, rapper Vahap Canbay from the group Canbay & Wolker wanted to reconcile with singer Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu, with whom he had broken up some time ago. Canbay asked his friend Kubilay Kundakçı (21), with whom he had a good relationship, for help. Kubilay Kundakçı went to the front of the studio where Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu was located, along with Vahap Canbay and his friends. While the group was waiting in the vehicle, the suspects, who allegedly arrived at the scene in luxury vehicles with flashing lights, carried out the attack. Alaaddin Kadayıfçıoğlu, one of the suspects, opened fire on the group inside the vehicle. The 21-year-old football player Kubilay Kundakçı, who was hit by the bullets, was seriously injured. The young man, who was taken to the hospital, could not be saved despite all interventions and lost his life.
Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı 7 SUSPECTS ARRESTED As part of the investigation launched regarding the incident, suspects Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu, İzzet Yıldızhan, the murder suspect Alaaddin Kadayıfçıoğlu, M.R., H.C.A., M.K., and E.T. were arrested and sent to prison.
