While the possibility of changing the election date in Fenerbahçe due to the national match has come to the agenda, Aziz Yıldırım wanted the elections to be held on time, while Hakan Safi wanted them to be moved earlier.
Discussions have arisen regarding the election date ahead of the extraordinary general assembly with elections planned for June 6-7 at Fenerbahçe. In the presidential race at the yellow-navy club, Aziz Yıldırım and Hakan Safi remain, while Barış Göktürk withdrew from the race and joined Aziz Yıldırım's team.
NATIONAL MATCH DETAIL CAUSED CRISIS
The possibility of postponing the congress emerged because the match of the Turkish National Team against North Macedonia, to be played in Kadıköy, coincides with the election date. It was stated that the Turkish Football Federation is determined not to change the stadium for the match.

In a statement from the TFF, it was stated that the National Team will play the North Macedonia match on June 1 at the Chobani Stadium, and the Venezuela match on Sunday, June 7, at the Inter Miami FC Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA at 01:00 TRT.
