Comedian Cem Yılmaz, who had chest pain on August 29 at his summer house in Paşaköy in the Ayvacık district, applied to Ayvacık State Hospital. Yılmaz, who was determined to have had a heart attack, was referred to Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Hospital (ÇOMÜ) after the initial intervention there.

Here, a balloon and stent procedure was performed on Cem Yılmaz through his wrist in about 40 minutes by Prof. Dr. Ercan Akşit, a Faculty Member of the Department of Cardiology. After his operation, Yılmaz, whose health condition was good, received treatment in the coronary intensive care unit for 2 days. After his treatment, Cem Yılmaz was discharged on August 31.
