He added, "Unfortunately, this negative language and approach have been exhibited at today's TÜSİAD meeting. It is not possible to endorse this language and style, which we believe does not represent the generality of our business world. A positive future cannot be built by constantly spreading pessimism in society and acting as harbingers of disaster."
'THE ERA OF GUARDIANSHIP OVER INDEPENDENT JUDICIARY HAS ENDED'
In the continuation of his statement, Yılmaz said, "It is expected that a businesspeople's organization primarily remembers its responsibilities in the process of creating a high value-added, technologically advanced, and qualified employment-producing economy and puts its hand under the stone. It produces social benefit for large capital groups that talk about democracy and law to question discriminatory practices in their own companies, non-competitive structures, and attitudes towards different opinions, and to engage in self-criticism regarding their past records." He stated, "In a challenging period for the world and our region, while the wounds of the greatest disaster in our history are being successfully healed and a program that solidifies the foundations of our economy is being implemented with determination, what is expected from our business world are constructive suggestions and hopeful messages for the future. The era of guardianship over elected governments and independent judiciary has ended. Instead of being eager about this, it is best for everyone who wishes to engage in politics to do so transparently by naming it within democratic rules."
THE CRITICISMS OF TÜSİAD ON THE AGENDA
The ordinary general assembly of TÜSİAD, which took place today, started with a striking presentation.
