HE WALKED ALONG THE LION'S ROAD TO REACH ANITKABİR
US Chief of Staff General Dan Caine, who visited Ankara for the NATO Summit, came to Anıtkabir by walking along the Lion's Road.
HE LAID A WREATH AT ATATÜRK'S MAUSOLEUM
After the wreath was laid at Atatürk's mausoleum, Dan Caine and his delegation observed a moment of silence and had a photo taken in front of Anıtkabir.
HE SIGNED THE ANITKABİR SPECIAL BOOK
Later, Caine moved to the National Pact Tower and signed the Anıtkabir Special Book.
Here is the note Caine wrote in the Anıtkabir Special Book: "Out of deep respect and admiration for the great and distinguished leader of the Republic of Türkiye, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, as a representative of the American people, I am deeply honored and proud to extend my respects to the Turkish Nation and this great leader."
