ATTEMPTED SUICIDE AFTER NERVOUS BREAKDOWN AT COURTHOUSE
According to the information obtained, tension erupted between the parties after the hearing of a deliberate injury case, which involved a detained defendant, at the 11th Criminal Court of First Instance at the Samsun Courthouse. In the courthouse corridor on the 4th floor where the hearing took place, a woman identified as Y.E.A., who was learned to be a relative of a detainee, suffered a nervous breakdown. According to claims, the young woman later attempted suicide. Courthouse police intervened at the scene, calmed the woman down, moved her to a safe area, and requested assistance from medical teams.
TAKEN TO HOSPITAL BY AMBULANCE
The woman, who reportedly refused the intervention of the first ambulance called, later fell ill again. Another ambulance was called for Y.E.A., who fainted in front of the courthouse. After the medical teams provided initial on-site intervention, the woman was taken to the hospital.
FIGHT BROKE OUT BETWEEN WOMEN INVOLVED IN THE CASE
Meanwhile, a fight broke out between the women who were parties to the case in front of the courthouse. Courthouse police intervened in the fight, which quickly showed signs of escalating, preventing the incident from spreading further. It was learned that there was resistance against police teams during the scuffle.
EIGHT WOMEN TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
Following the incidents, a total of eight women, including two individuals under the age of 18, were taken into custody and handed over to the Gazi Police Station. It was learned that legal proceedings were also initiated against two of the detained women on charges of resisting police. The investigation into the incident continues.
