The statements of the woman who surrendered to the police after killing her lover, with whom she had an illicit relationship, by cutting his throat have emerged. In her statement, the woman said, "I pressed the knife to his throat to scare him, and at that moment, his throat was cut. Then I struck him several more times with the knife. When Ferit M. fell from the vehicle, influenced by the violence and threats I had experienced, I struck him several more times with a cleaver while he was on the ground."
A young woman in Samsun killed her boyfriend by cutting his throat during an argument. After the murder, the suspect surrendered, and chilling statements emerged regarding the incident.
The incident occurred on the evening of January 24 around 10:00 PM in a light commercial vehicle parked on the road to Samsun City Hospital in the Düvecik neighborhood of the Canik district.
SHE CUT HIS THROAT AND STRUCK HIS NECK WITH A CLEAVER
According to the information obtained, Gamze S. (38), a married woman and mother of three, met with her married boyfriend Ferit M. (45), a father of four, with whom she had been having a forbidden relationship for a long time. The argument between the parties resulted in murder. It is alleged that Gamze S. cut Ferit M.'s throat with a knife and a cleaver she brought with her, and then struck his neck multiple times with the cleaver. After the incident, Gamze S. went to the police station and surrendered with the knife and cleaver she used in the murder. Police teams who arrived at the scene found Ferit M. inside the vehicle with his throat cut.
THE SUSPECT'S STATEMENT EMERGED
In her statement, Gamze S. said that she had been in a forbidden relationship with Ferit M. for a long time, and when she wanted to break up, Ferit M. began to threaten her. Gamze S. claimed that Ferit M. had previously beaten her with a belt, sprayed her with pepper spray, and said he would apply the same violence to her child.
Gamze S. stated that about 10 days ago, after Ferit M. returned from Umrah, he constantly called her, and on January 24, while she was at her mother's house, he sent a message saying he was near the house. She mentioned that when leaving her mother's house, she took the knife she had previously bought and the cleaver she used for cutting wood with her, saying, "We got in the car and went to the city hospital road. Ferit threatened me here and wanted to have sex. My son Aydın had learned about our relationship 10 days ago. My son saw that we went with Ferit. We went to the city hospital road.
SHE DESCRIBED THE MURDER LIKE THIS
Here, he threatened me and wanted to have sex. He convinced me and took my son Aydın into the car, and we returned to the scene. My son was in front of the car, and I was sitting in the back. Ferit was drunk. He raised the beer bottle in his hand. To scare him, I pressed the knife to his throat, and at that moment, his throat was cut. Then I struck him a few more times with the knife. When Ferit fell out of the car, I hit him a few more times with the cleaver due to the violence and threats I had experienced. During the incident, I used the knife and cleaver myself. My son and husband did not use any cutting tools," she said.
SHE ADMITTED TO GIVING HER PHONE TO HER SON
Gamze S. stated that Ferit M. took his cell phone from the car after the incident and told her son to destroy the phone because it contained private images of her, and she did not know where the phone was thrown later. She mentioned that she had previously filed complaints against Ferit M. twice for threats and assault and had obtained a restraining order, adding that the last restraining order had expired shortly before the incident.
