Cholera and flood disaster in Sudan! Loss of life is now at an uncontrollable point.

The number of deaths from cholera outbreak in Sudan has reached 315, it has been reported.

315 DEATHS IN THE OUTBREAK

In a statement from the Sudan Ministry of Health, it was stated that the number of cases in the cholera outbreak, which spread to different provinces of the country, has risen to 9,533. The statement also mentioned that the number of deaths due to the outbreak has reached 315.

225 PEOPLE DEAD IN FLOOD DISASTER

The statement also shared the information that the number of people who lost their lives due to heavy rain and floods in 11 provinces of Sudan since June has reached 225. It was also stated that the number of people affected by the floods has reached 345,204.

In Sudan, between July and October, more than 100 people lose their lives and tens of thousands of homes, businesses, and agricultural lands are damaged as a result of floods and flash floods. The rains and floods that have been effective in the country since June have led to the spread of cholera. In this period when the healthcare system is not functioning effectively due to the ongoing war in Sudan, the spread of epidemic diseases further complicates people's lives.
