The horrifying incident took place in Aksaray. Mehmet A. (50) shot and seriously injured his son-in-law Recep Ok (30), who was in the process of divorce, and killed his daughter Fadimana Ok (26) who tried to protect him. Mehmet A., who fled after the terrible incident, is being searched for.
HE FIRED THE GUN IN HIS WAIST WHEN THE ARGUMENT ESCALATED
The incident occurred around 21:30 on Şehit İsmail Dağ Street in Fatih Neighborhood. Recep Ok, a father of 2 children, and his wife Fadimana Ok, who were in the process of divorce but still living together, were returning home in their car when they encountered their father-in-law Mehmet A. A dispute broke out between the father-in-law and the son-in-law. As the argument escalated, Mehmet A. shot his son-in-law Recep Ok with the gun he carried in his waist. At that moment, Fadimana Ok tried to protect her husband. Recep Ok was hit by 3 bullets in his chest and abdomen, while Fadimana Ok was hit by 1 bullet in her chest.
FATHER-IN-LAW ESCAPED FROM THE SCENE
While the couple was covered in blood, Mehmet A. quickly fled from the scene. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the address upon notification. Fadimana Ok, who was taken to Aksaray Education and Research Hospital by the medical team, lost her life despite the doctors' efforts. It was stated that Recep Ok, who underwent surgery, is in critical condition. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident, and the police continue their efforts to apprehend Mehmet A.
