The leader of the CHP, Özgür Özel, made a striking statement during a program he attended. Özel said, "If İmamoğlu continues to be inside during the upcoming process, after the elections we will transition to a parliamentary system, with President Yavaş and Prime Minister İmamoğlu."

ÖZEL'S INTERESTING "MANSUR YAVAŞ" FORMULA
Özel stated that if İmamoğlu cannot be released from prison, Mansur Yavaş will be nominated as the presidential candidate. He noted that if the elections are won, a return to the parliamentary system will occur, and İmamoğlu will become the prime minister.
Özel said: "If İmamoğlu continues to be inside during the upcoming process, we, as the CHP, will not stop. I will get on top of the bus, and at the same time, Mansur Yavaş will be in another city. Our group vice presidents and our deputies will be in other cities. We will continue during this process.

If Ekrem İmamoğlu is kept inside, then we will win the election with 70%. In fact, the public will give us the majority to change the constitution in the parliament. A rapidly strengthened parliamentary system will be adopted. Then, a neutral president will be elected. That neutral president will become the most important figure who wins the hearts of the people. Mansur Yavaş will be president, the parliamentary system will be restored, and Ekrem İmamoğlu will be the prime minister, with Ekrem İmamoğlu at the head of the executive branch.
