A consumer who bought a children's t-shirt from a popular chain store encountered a striking detail when researching the meaning of the English text on the back of the product. It turned out that the text following the phrase "Even if..." written in capital letters on the shirt was a direct quotation from Daniel 3:18 in the Bible/Torah. The vigilant consumer said that Christian propaganda is being made on products intended for children.

A consumer who bought a children's t-shirt from a popular chain store was greatly surprised when examining the English text on the back of the clothing. It was noticed that in the paragraph under the shirt, which read "Even if..." in capital letters, there were sacred texts belonging to the Christian faith.

As a result of the examination, it was understood that the phrase on the shirt was taken verbatim from Daniel 3:18, found in the Old Testament (Tanakh/Torah) section, which also includes the Torah.

THE TEXT USED AND ITS TURKISH TRANSLATION

The following statements are on the shirt:

"But even if he doesn't, we want to make it clear to you, Your Majesty, that we will never serve your gods or worship the gold statue you have set up."

Its Turkish translation: "Ama öyle yapmasa bile bil ki, ey Kral, senin ilahlarına kulluk etmeyeceğiz ve diktiğin altın heykele asla tapmayacağız."

REACTION FROM CONSUMERS: AN UNACCEPTABLE SITUATION

A sensitive consumer who noticed the text expressed their reaction with the following words, stating that the situation is a hidden direction towards Christianity:

"Using religious messages and sacred texts in textile products for children, by hiding their meaning or thinking they won't be noticed, is unacceptable. Misleading families in a Muslim society in this way and presenting such religious content through children's products is a serious insensitivity."

"DON'T BUY WITHOUT KNOWING WHAT IT SAYS"

Experts, who state that particular attention should be paid to the meanings of clothing products written in foreign languages, also warn families to check the prints and visual details on the clothes they buy for their children.
