HARSH REACTION FROM ÇİĞDEM TUNÇ TO ACTOR SALARIES
Çiğdem Tunç, remembered for the character Nazlı in the film Şabaniye, this time drew attention not for her acting but for her statements about pay policies in the TV series industry. Saying that some actors are able to become homeowners with the money they earn from one week of series filming, Tunç expressed her view on pay increases with these words: "Then they will count what they have received so far. Being able to shoot an episode in a week and buy an apartment with that money..."
